Plainly: carriers pay us, we do not charge a broker fee, and you see our compensation in writing before you sign anything.
For most placements, Moran Insurance Group is paid a commission by the insurance carrier or plan provider. We do not add a separate broker fee on top for the services on this site. Premiums, and any administrator, stop-loss, pharmacy benefit or other third-party fees in your plan, are separate, and we show them in your proposal.
Before any contract or renewal of an ERISA-covered group health plan, you receive a written description of our services and the compensation we expect, direct and indirect. That has been a federal requirement since December 27, 2021, for brokers expecting $1,000 or more, and it applies to small and large plans alike.

The disclosure exists so you can judge that for yourself. We show you the options we considered and why we recommend one, and we are glad to walk through the numbers.
